Luke visits the Doctor

Jason and I took Luke to the doctor today. He has been extra fussy and crying A LOT since yesterday and maybe even the day before. Last night we noticed that he started pulling on his left ear. He did it again a few times this morning. We thought maybe he had an ear infection. He is also teething (he's cutting about 4 teeth right now, OW!) but because of the ear pulling we decided to take him to the doctor. We could not go on base because they only accept same day appointments if you call between 6:30-7:30 in the morning ...so dumb... I'll get into that some other time. So we found an urgent care office that accepts TriCare, it was half an hour away. Thankfully Luke was fairly happy playing in the back seat with his toys. We saw the doctor and he said that Lukes ears look wonderful! Nothing is wrong with them, he doesn't have a sore throat and his tonsils are fine. WHEW! It's all because of teething. Well, I'm glad we know. The doctor suggested oragel, we'll try that this evening when Luke wakes up.
